Love Island 2018 alumna Laura Anderson recently shared the delightful news that she is expecting her first child with Gary Lucy, through a captivating Instagram montage that encapsulated her pregnancy journey thus far. However, Laura’s joyous announcement was followed by reports indicating that she had parted ways with the 41-year-old actor, who stated, “I love Laura but we are no longer together. My main drive, as always, is to work together to co-parent our child.”
The couple first met during filming for Celebs Go Dating last July, and rumours are circulating that Laura terminated their brief relationship after discovering that she was pregnant. The former reality star has reportedly made up her mind to raise her child as a single parent, and it seems that she is determined to do so with conviction.

A source close to Laura has revealed to Closer, “It’s a nerve-wracking time for Laura, but ultimately, she would rather be alone than be with someone who doesn’t make her feel completely happy. Her decision wasn’t an easy one, but she doesn’t want to expose her baby to conflict. Although some couples choose to stay together for the sake of their children, Laura can’t go down that route. In fact, she feels empowered by her choice.”
