In a heartwarming tale of resilience, Chiang Mai’s moggy named Able defies the odds after a devastating electric shock incident. His front legs and tail were ‘fried off’ due to a high voltage shock caused by loose wires. The incident, so intense that neighbors mistook it for a bomb explosion, left Able severely injured and stranded on the streets.
‘Able’ gets around by walking like a T-Rex after his front legs were ‘fried off’ by loose electric wires. The cat’s gait resembles how the dino moves and Able’s ‘fried off’ arms are even similar to the shrunken limbs of the frightening beast
However, Able’s determination and the care of a kind-hearted rescuer, Walai Sriboonvorakul, turned his life around. Despite losing his front limbs, Able didn’t let his disability hinder his spirit. He adapted remarkably by walking on his hind legs, reminiscent of a T-Rex’s movement.

Able’s journey to recovery showcases his remarkable strength and adaptability. Over the years, he has mastered tasks such as navigating stairs, playfully chasing other cats, and even scaling walls with a kangaroo-like bounce.

Rescuer Walai Sriboonvorakul shared, “Able is a beautiful cat. We called him ‘Able’ because he can do everything just like the other animals.” The cat’s unique way of getting around and his ability to overcome adversity has endeared him to his adoptive family, who shower him with love and care.
Able struggled at first but the brave cat has adapted quickly. Not only can he hop around but is able to jump over high walls
Today, Able is a cherished member of the Sriboonvorakul family, enjoying life within the confines of their home. His remarkable journey serves as a source of inspiration, reminding us all that even in the face of adversity, determination knows no bounds.
Able is now considered part of the Sriboonvorakul family and is kept inside their two storey home
