Grilled Ahi Tuna Steaks

If you can! To shorten the cooking time for this meal, you can make the marinade ahead of time. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where it can be stored for up to 2 weeks.

  1. Combine your marinade in a small bowl. mix the marinade in a small bowl
  2. Season your tuna steaks with salt and pepper then place in a ziplock bag or shallow dish. Pour in the marinade and let it sit for 15 to 25 minutes. You don’t want it to marinate any more as the vinegar can start to “cook” the tuna like in ceviche. marinated steak on plate
  3. Turn your grill on to high heat. Generously spray the rack with nonstick cooking spray. Place your steaks on the grill to sear for 2-3 minutes per side. It should be crisp on the outside and bright pink on the inside. grilled tuna steaks
