Peppermint Candy Lollipop Ornaments
Using an artist’s brush and regular craft paint, freehand draw the swirls of a peppermint candy onto a foam disk. You can practice on a piece of cardboard first, but it helps to have a photo or real candy to follow along with. Tip: Make sure there is plenty of paint on the brush, and you will get smooth lines… Let it dry. Insert a wooden dowel for the stick. Wrap with transparent cellophane and tie with a ribbon.
…Here’s the result ! The cellophane packaging really compliments this one and makes it look like a real lollipop.
Candy Christmas Ornament
Candyland gumball and marshmallow decorations are made simply with a glue gun. We used a piece of twisted floral wire as a hanger. As we inserted the hanger into the foam, we added a little hot glue to secure it. Then simply cover the Styrofoam ball with candy using your glue gun. We used glitter spray again here on the gumball ornament.
