stir the sugar and water together in a medium saucepan. Add the rosemary sprigs. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow pan to cool completely.
Strain and transfer to an airtight container or jar. Cool.

Combine the lemon juice and water. Add the rosemary simple syrup, prove. You won’t use it all, start with 1/2 -3/4 cup and work your way up from there.
Chill lemonade well before serving. Do not add ice at this point.
Serve the lemonade over ice with a lemon wedge and rosemary sprig.
