Mars, the cat mom, is a stunning feline sporting a beautiful, long-haired black coat. Her initial uncertainty about the new surroundings quickly transformed as she realized her kittens were in safe hands.
During their initial interaction, Mars was vocal and appeared defensive, growling at every sound and movement. It became evident that her vocalization was a means to express her fear and protectiveness over her kittens while also seeking human interaction.
Momma Mars eventually warmed up to her foster family, allowing them to assist with her demanding babies, affectionately named Hershey, Reese’s (or Reese), Twix, and Baby Ruth. She even began to make biscuits (kneading) while prancing around.
