Approximately two months ago, a lone, tiny kitten was discovered in a park, seemingly abandoned. Despite efforts to locate the owner, no one stepped forward to claim the adorable little furball.
At just one week old, it became evident that the orphaned kitten needed the care of a nurturing mother or round-the-clock attention from a bottle feeder. Realizing the kitten’s dire situation, the compassionate finder reached out to their local rescue organization, Be Their Voice Animal Rescue, for assistance.

Aimee, a dedicated board member of the rescue, quickly took charge upon receiving the plea for help. She welcomed the orphaned kitten into her care, hatching a thoughtful plan for his future.

A few weeks before the rescue of this little kitten, Aimee had opened her home to a mother cat named Lucy and her six adorable kittens, who had been born in a shelter. Lucy, having been freed from the confines of the shelter, was overflowing with happiness to be in a comfortable home.
The moment she emerged from her carrier, Lucy began to purr and immediately sought affection.

The presence of a nurturing mother is vital for the well-being of a newborn kitten. Aimee introduced the little orphan to Lucy, hoping she would accept him into her family.
Within moments, Lucy wholeheartedly embraced the new addition, taking care of him and allowing him to nurse alongside her own kittens. Despite being the smallest in the litter, the rescued kitten asserted himself, vying for Mama’s attention and snuggling up to her for extra tender loving care.

While Lucy nurtured all seven kittens, Aimee continued to provide supplementary feedings for the rescued baby to ensure he caught up in weight.
“He would purr and seek cuddles after every feeding. I thought it might be an occasional thing, but it happened every time,” Aimee shared with Love Meow.

Rerun never missed a post-meal cuddle session with his foster mother.
