Last month, Alyssa received a call from her animal rescue organization regarding two abandoned kittens left at their local Petco. Unfortunately, no one came forward to claim these kittens, prompting the volunteers at Puppy Kitty NY City to step in and provide them with a temporary foster home. This warm and caring environment ensured that they had a soft landing while they awaited their bright and promising future.
Upon Alyssa’s arrival to pick up the kittens, they greeted her with warmth and enthusiasm, competing for her attention and affection. In Alyssa’s words, “These two sisters were so affectionate that one jumped into my arms,” as she shared with Love Meow.
The reason for their abandonment at Petco remains a mystery, but Alyssa expressed her happiness that they now had a chance to find a loving forever home. These kittens, named Krispy and Kreme, quickly adapted to their new surroundings. Within an hour of their arrival, they joined Alyssa’s mother on her bed, lying on top of her while purring in contentment.
At nine weeks of age, Krispy and Kreme were a delightful blend of playfulness and affection. They displayed their love for everyone they encountered and were not the least bit shy about getting up close and personal. Before long, they became devoted lap cats, constantly seeking out the nearest warm and cozy spot to snuggle.
