Kevin Costner accuses estranged wife of spending almost $100,000 on his credit card

Kevin Costner’s ongoing divorce proceedings have taken an unfortunate turn, with the acclaimed actor claiming that his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, has allegedly made unauthorized withdrawals totaling nearly $100,000 from his bank account and charged expenses to his credit card. The 68-year-old Yellowstone star was reportedly caught off guard by the divorce filing and is now faced with the disheartening task of addressing these financial discrepancies.

Just last month, a spokesperson for Costner shared a somber statement confirming the couple’s impending separation, expressing regret over the circumstances that had led to this decision. Amidst the emotional turmoil, recent court documents have shed light on Costner’s allegations against Baumgartner. He contends that she withdrew the significant sum without providing him any prior notice, directing the funds toward payments for her divorce attorneys and a forensic accountant.

Moreover, Costner claims that Baumgartner, who works as a handbag designer, is making it difficult for him by refusing to vacate their shared residence. Allegedly, she is leveraging their continued cohabitation to gain an upper hand in their financial negotiations. The documents also reference a prenuptial agreement that stipulates a 230-day grace period for Baumgartner to find alternative accommodations following the divorce filing.
