The wife of disgraced rugby league player Joe Westerman has spoken out about her husband’s recent infidelity, saying that she is “glad” the cheating was caught on camera, as it has helped her move on.
Mother-of-three Lauren, who had been with Westerman since they were childhood sweethearts, has vowed that her marriage is “over for good” after the Castleford Tiger was caught on camera performing a sex act on an unnamed blonde in a street alley.
In an interview with The Sun, Lauren explained that she had felt physically sick when she saw the footage of her husband’s infidelity. She was worried about her 14-year-old daughter, who had also seen the video, and was being added to Snapchat groups from school where the video was being shared repeatedly. “That’s their dad, and I feel so sorry for them that they’ve had to see something like that,” Lauren said. “Truth is, he only told me because it was on social media. But I’m glad it was found because the thought of kissing him after that just makes me feel sick.”
