Being a celebrity means that you have made it to the top when it comes to fame, but sometimes, it’s not enough. There is a certain satisfaction that comes from watching famous people engage in some sort of conflict. Whether it’s the subtle jabs between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez or Chaka Khan’s blunt shade towards Mary J. Blige and other top singers, there’s something about seeing celebrities argue that makes for good entertainment. Jennifer Coolidge is no stranger to this concept, and she has an idea for the next big celebrity showdown.
In an interview with Mia Farrow for Time’s 100 Most Influential People issue, Coolidge proposed that she and Farrow create a video of themselves fighting. The idea was to catch the attention of a filmmaker, but Coolidge was worried that it might come off as desperate. Farrow, however, was game and even had fake hair and ketchup ready for the occasion. “Who wouldn’t want to be beat up by Jennifer Coolidge? She’s a national treasure,” Farrow said.
