“I worked hard for this degree and I was determined to walk with the rest of my class… so I brought my daughter with me on stage to get my diploma,” she proudly stated. Under the admiring gaze of students and faculty, she walked across the stage, her baby in her arms, hidden beneath her gown, with a radiant smile on her face. It was a moment of great emotion!

Now holding a college diploma, Grace embodies resilience and dedication, juggling education, parenthood, and work alongside her husband, Caleb. Over the past six years, she has faced incredible challenges with unwavering determination to achieve her educational goals. “I hope this inspires other moms like me to continue their education and prove to the world that they can do it too!” she says.
By offering hope to all young women who tend to give up in this type of situation, I want to share a personal conviction: “My daughter is my greatest achievement.” Nothing is impossible with goodwill, perseverance, and faith.
Grace’s story serves as an inspiring testimony to the possibilities of brilliantly combining motherhood and education, despite the obstacles she encountered in her life.
Currently involved in the “Strong Beginnings” program, Grace works with preschool-aged children, expressing her passion for positively influencing their lives. Her dedication to making a difference in the lives of young children is truly admirable.
