The video eventually caught the attention of Joey Swoll, a prominent gym etiquette influencer and self-proclaimed “CEO OF GYM POSITIVITY.” With a substantial following of 7.6 million on TikTok, Swoll is known for calling out inappropriate behavior in fitness settings. He reposted the video on his own account, accompanied by a caption that read, “As a personal trainer and coach, you need to set a better example for the gym community.”

In his response video, which amassed over 20 million views on TikTok within a mere 24 hours, Swoll emphasized the importance of respecting others’ workouts and not expecting them to halt their routines for the sake of one’s filming. He stressed that being a personal trainer comes with the responsibility of setting a positive example for the gym community and promoting a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

The comments section of Swoll’s video was flooded with support for his stance, with many expressing their frustration and disappointment with the fitness influencer’s behavior. One commenter remarked, “It’s sad that you gotta keep saying this over and over again to a bunch of adults,” while another added, “So she put her cam in front of the dumbbell rack and made him the bad guy?? These people amaze me.” The overwhelming consensus was that the influencer’s actions were unacceptable and demonstrated a lack of consideration for others.

Swoll also brought attention to other problematic behaviors exhibited by the personal trainer. He noted that she had recently shared a story advertising her fitness challenge, in which she portrayed herself as “thoughtful” and “non-judgmental.” However, shortly after this promotion, she posted a video mocking a man on a treadmill, contradicting the very values she claimed to uphold. This inconsistency further undermined her credibility and raised questions about her true character.
