Jamie Bell, the former partner of Evan Rachel Wood, has been granted primary custody of their 9-year-old son, Jack, according to court documents obtained by The Blast. Although this custody dispute has lasted for over two years, both parents have finally reached an agreement that ensures the well-being of their child.

The decision states that Jack will primarily reside with Jamie in Los Angeles, where he and his wife, Kate Mara, provide a loving and stable environment for their two young children. Evan will have custody of Jack for an extended weekend per month and will also have him during certain holidays and school breaks.
This resolution comes after a series of events that led to the ongoing custody battle. In December 2020, Evan failed to transfer custody of Jack to Jamie for the holidays, citing concerns for their safety. Evan, who had been a witness in a high-profile criminal investigation, had received threats and felt it was necessary to relocate to Nashville full-time. She took extra measures to ensure their security, including investing in security upgrades for her homes.
