Step 2 – Cooking the Crepes
Heat a griddle or a lightly oiled pan over medium-high heat. You can add a small amount of butter or oil to prevent the crepes from sticking to the pan.
Once the pan is hot, pour or use a ladle to add the batter to the surface. Approximately 1/4 cup of batter for each crepe is a good guideline, but you can adjust the quantity based on your desired crepe size.
Step 3 – Perfect Cooking
Allow the crepe to cook for about 2 minutes, or until the bottom is lightly golden. You may see small bubbles forming on the surface, indicating that the crepe is ready to be flipped.
Using a spatula, carefully loosen the crepe from the pan and flip it to cook the other side. It takes approximately an additional 1 to 2 minutes for the second side to reach the same golden hue.
Repeat the process with the remaining batter until you’ve prepared all the desired crepes.
Enjoy Your Crepes
Crepes are best served hot. You can top them with maple syrup, jam, Nutella, fruits, or even sugar and lemon juice according to your preferences. Let your creativity flow!
