Once again, the compassionate lady ventured into the basement to investigate the source of the sounds and returned with another kitten. After ensuring the basement was indeed empty, they whisked the little ones away to the comfort of their home, where the resident cats took a keen interest in the newcomers. Though the kittens were no longer shivering, their hunger remained unfulfilled.
When faced with uncertainty, the man turned to the Internet for guidance. He scoured numerous online resources, from detailed guides on how to handle such situations to discussions on specialized forums. Some suggested leaving the kittens alone, speculating that the mother cat was out hunting. Initially, he was inclined to believe this theory. However, after careful consideration, he and his companions agreed that a responsible mother wouldn’t leave her kittens hungry and shivering for so long.
The housemates headed to the store, purchasing kitten milk substitute and essential pet supplies. Upon returning, they warmed the milk and improvised bottle nipples. Each took turns feeding one of the adorable little creatures until they were content and settled.
