Earlier today, Gomez began her day by making the appeal, and later in the afternoon, Hailey broke her silence and commented for the first time on how the internet has been treating her.
Hailey explained that she and Selena had been privately talking for weeks about how to handle the drama. She acknowledged that everyone, including herself, could benefit from being kinder about what they post online. In a further show of peace, Hailey followed Selena back on Instagram after Selena made the first move and followed Hailey earlier today.
